Outdoor Adventures
4All current New School students are allowed to attend our Outdoor Adventure events. If space allows, events will be open to faculty and staff. If transportation is not provided directly by the school, events may even be open to alumni and guests. See each event below for these options.
You MUST have medical insurance and list the policy carrier and number upon registering.
Bring New School ID and Insurance Card with you on ALL trips.
Registration Process
Note: Each participant MUST sign up separately as participant information (i.e.: name, contact info, emergency contact info, and insurance info) is collected at the end of checkout.
1) Register (and pay where applicable) via Marketplace Note: If an event is not listed in the marketplace, that means the trip has passed, it is full, or registration has not opened yet.
1B) Some trips are offered to faculty, staff, alumni and guests. Their fees would be different than the student rate. Sign up is also via Marketplace (unless otherwise instructed below) (Email Diane Yee, Director, with any questions)
2) Get confirmation/instructions from the Recreation Office (usually an email a few days prior to the event)
3) Sign Waiver in person at event check-in. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent/guardian complete the form and you can bring it to check-in. (Email Diane Yee, Director, to obtain this form)
